CHRONICLES OF EVERFALL
SHADOW OF THE CONQUEROR
Shadow of the Conqueror is the breakout success, beloved, and controversial, debut novel by Shad M. Brooks.
Shadow of the Conqueror is a tale of a deposed tyrannical emperor Daylen who embarks on a journey towards redemption, obtaining the mythical powers of the legendary Archknights.
He must battle his inner demons, his violent and cruel inclinations, and enemies both old and new in the hopes of pushing back the darkness he brought to the world.
After all, who better to fight back against the darkness of the world, than the one responsible for most of it?

I'd highly recommend this book in general, but if you've grown bored with Fantasy Novels, this might just get you back in the mood again. There's lots of action, and lots of drama, as well as a cool new world with it's cool magic system. A must read if you're looking to get into fantasy or maybe renew your interest in it!"

I expected this to be well thought out and a good read but the conflict within yourself as you read is just staggeringly good.

I'm not a professional, but man is this book good!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book to the fullest. It has been one of the best buys I've ever made and I cannot wait until the next title. Overall I find this to be an astounding debut novel and it deserves any praise heading it's way.

I couldn't put it down!
I found myself saying ' I didn't see THAT coming ' more than once. Sharp witted good humoured compassionate writing.
The author looks too young to know this stuff.
Well done Shad!
Next please!"

I only have high praise for this book. The author has put a lot of love, energy, and research into making this novel and has put in a lot of thought into the world building process. I feel that this the author built an entire world through the series. This is just book one and we could expect anything from a trilogy, to ten novels."
